2016 was a year of a lot of change for me. I started the year getting divorced and during this time I had set some very clear intentions about how I wanted my new life to be, living on my own. One of those intentions was to have an even better lifestyle as a single mom as I had done living with my ex and his corporate salary to support our lifestyle.

I started the year living in complete faith, knowing that I didn’t need to know how my intentions would manifest, but trusting that they would. I walked in complete faith. These are my biggest lessons:

• There is nothing you cannot have. You can have anything you allow yourself to have and you don’t need to know how it’s going to happen. You just need to decide what you want and trust and allow it to come into your reality. We all have access to the abundance of the universe and if it’s not showing up it’s because part of you is blocking it. All you have to do is ask and trust that it is given, because it is, every time.

• Money, people and the things you need can easily show up in your reality. It’s fun when you manifest things almost instantly. This year I became especially good at manifesting all the things I wanted: More clients, more money, more vacations, I even manifested a guy to come clean the roof of my house. I told myself one morning I needed someone to come clean the roof of my house, and by noon (I kid you not) a guy was at my door asking if I wanted to have my roof cleaned! I asked for large sums of money and it showed up with little to no effort on my part. All you have to do is ask, and expect to get what you ask for.

• There is no lack: The more you ask for the more you get. I was able to do all the things I wanted to do. That meant buying a lot of the things I needed after the divorce to get my house back together. It meant manifesting the money to go on several vacations. It also meant spending the summer with my boys and working very little while money and clients easily showed up with little effort on my part. When you focus on abundance and the fact that there is always more than enough, there always is.
• The more you enjoy yourself, the better it gets: I learned that when I worked “hard” things didn’t work for me, but when I was doing things because they were fun, clients would show up out of nowhere, kind of like magic.
• When you resist moving forward with something you want, the universe will give it to you anyway, but not in the way you probably expected. I had wanted to buy a new car and I knew that I didn’t feel excited about my car anymore. But as my son will be 16 this year I thought I would keep the car until I could give it to him. But at the same time, I had another car in mind, and every time I saw the car I wanted on the road I would say: “That’s my car”. Well, I didn’t buy it and guess what. I got rear ended and my car was totaled! So, now I had a chance to go get the car I really wanted. You always get what you really want!
• When you start doubting, everything falls apart. For a while, things had gone so well, and so easily that I started doubting it could really be this easy – all the time. Even though my doubt was as tiny as a mustard seed, things started to crumble. The smallest amount of doubt will keep what you want away from you. Faith is what holds everything together. • You have a powerful inner GPS: A little while ago I was going somewhere I had never been and realized my battery was very low on my phone as I had the navigation on. I memorized part of the address quickly and the phone died immediately. I had no charger and knew I had to figure out how to get to where I was going without any idea of where I was going. I only knew part of the address. I told my mind to go find the place, and just listened to my intuition. I was going to an apartment building and I had no idea which apartment I was going to. There were hundreds of apartments. Somehow not only did I find the right address (no it was not a numbered street!) but I drove and stopped right outside the correct apartment without even knowing which apartment number I was going to. The moral of the story is that we do have an inner GPS, and when we allow ourselves to trust our inner guidance our own GPS will take us where we need to go.

Moral of the story: You are more powerful than you could ever imagine! Don’t ever question your power to be, do and have anything you want. It’s all within you.
