Luck is just a mistaken way of understanding how the Universe operates. We create our own luck. It’s not something that just happens to us. By better understanding how the Universe operates you can consistently create your own luck, and your life starts becoming magical. Because the truth is, luck really doesn’t exist. And magic doesn’t either.

The Universe operates by law and order, not by luck. There are no coincidences and everything happens as a result of universal law and order. And when you start to use these laws to your advantage, it may seem to others that you’re lucky or that your life is filled with magic!

I was reminded of this as I was on a walk with my dog yesterday and I ran into an acquaintance. I told her I had just come back from a skiing trip, and here it was Monday mid-day and I was out walking my dog instead of working.

She said, you’re so lucky!  I know she was referring to the fact that I was out on a work-day and having flexibility to do so, as well as being able to travel so much. She knows I’m recently divorced and that I’m a single mom running my own business.

But when she told me that I was lucky, I couldn’t help but tell myself; she has no freaking clue what I’ve gone through to get to where I am today and my life is not luck, it’s a carefully planned, constructed reality that I created for myself. She could live like this too if she wanted to. But of course, everyone has their own journey, purpose and life lessons, and each is on their own timeline.

So, what is my luck really? When you look at it, the reason I’m where I am today is because of all of the work I have done.

I’ve gone through a lot of shit to be where I am today. There was a long walk through the mud, dark days of despair and feeling lost, sometimes helpless, sometimes frustrated, sometimes overwhelmed, depressed, scared, alone, feeling misunderstood…sometimes feeling like giving up may be an easier way, or just hiding underneath my covers… But I didn’t.

I picked myself up every time. I’ve let go of people, jobs, places and things that didn’t serve me. I’ve invested tens of thousands in coaches and mentors. I’ve read and studied for years.  I’ve challenged my beliefs and made courageous choices while stepping into places that only my faith could take me through. I’ve faced my darkest demons and my deepest fears to get to have the level of freedom I have today. Was I afraid? Sure I was, but I didn’t let it stop me. Sometimes I was terrified of taking the next step and some days I could only live from moment to moment. Taking it just a day at a time. Or even an hour. Living in pure faith.

Luck is no accident. Everything happens by law.

If you want something, you can create it. In fact, if you feel unlucky, you are creating that as well. Creating your own “luck” doesn’t have to be so hard either. I may have walked the tougher path because I had a lot of tolerance for pain, but you can stop tolerating your life right now and create your own heaven on earth, whatever that looks like to you.

Anything is possible. I believe this to the deepest core of my being and my life is showing me proof every day. People point it out to me. “Vibeke, what’s your magic? How do you do this? You seem to attract abundance an magic wherever you go.  You are so lucky…!”  I often manifest instantly, and people are sometimes shocked to witness it. And for the people who don’t understand, it may look like magic or luck, but I can assure you that’s not it! I’ve just learned how to use the laws of the Universe to get what I want and anyone can learn how to do this – it’s not rocket science!

I don’t care what your challenge is. Love, relationships, money, health, creating the freedom you want, the business you want…or anything else you’re being challenged with. You are the creator of your own life and experience. The question is; are you creating the life you want or are you creating more of what you don’t want?

The solution is simple. Make a choice. Decide you want to change and start looking for signs that will lead you towards what you want. Take chances, trust your gut, invest in yourself, and start loving yourself enough to allow yourself to truly have what you really want. Be willing to face your fears and I assure you, if you don’t give up, you will eventually get what you want. You can take the slow road, or the fast road, but the longer you resist, the longer the journey will take.
