You never know where life is going to lead you, but one thing I know for sure. If you try to control everything and listen to your logical mind every time you make a decision, you will miss the magical moments of life. Following my inner guidance has become my number one priority. And when I do, things work out, when I don’t, then things seem a lot more difficult.<\/p>\n
Sometimes what I do may not make any sense to anybody else, and sometimes it doesn’t make sense to me either because our conscious minds don’t know everything, despite the fact that our ego minds think it’s the expert in everything.<\/p>\n
When I feel called do something, I do it. I was called to learn Reiki a few years ago. I had no clue why but I heard a very clear voice in the middle of the night saying; \u201cyou need to learn reiki\u201d. Then, I realized it was just a step on the road to learn ARCH\u00ae healing which I was also guided to do, without even knowing what it was at the moment. As I awoke that morning, I signed up to learn Reiki despite the fact that I had never had Reiki and knew very little about it.<\/p>\n
During the same time, I was following another trail of signs. \u00a0Rainbows and Hawaii kept coming up but I didn\u2019t know what it meant. Was I supposed to move to Hawaii? To be clear, I asked for a sign from the Universe making sure this Hawaii thing wasn\u2019t something I just made up in my own head. As I walked down to my mailbox I asked for a sign about Hawaii. As I opened the mailbox a brochure for special tours to Hawaii was there! Never before or after have, I had a brochure about Hawaii in my mailbox! I just started laughing.<\/p>\n
Then, I saw rainbows everywhere. In the shower, on the toilet paper, in the sky, all over my house…Signs that I knew meant something, but I had to read into them to understand them. Small little signs, guiding me like breadcrumbs along a trail in the forest. The Universe was urging me to go in a certain direction. To do certain things. As I realized the rainbow symbolized energy healing, I started google\u2019ing energy healing Hawaii. Slowly, and in several steps, the message came through and became more clear. The day before going in to take my Reiki training, I looked at the website of the Reiki teacher and it said she did ARCH\u00ae healing which means Ancient Rainbow Conscious Healing – an energy healing technique from Hawaii. Bingo! I hit the jackpot! The Universe is so intelligent it blows my mind sometimes!<\/p>\n
Going through the ARCH\u00ae training was one of the most mind-expanding and transformational experiences I had had to date and marked an important change in my life and business. I could no longer see the world the same way as before. I was a different person.<\/p>\n
The point I\u2019m trying to make is that until you follow the trail – or the guidance, you don\u2019t know where exactly you\u2019ll end up, or what kind of treasure awaits you. But one thing I\u2019ve learned; when you follow divine guidance, the treasure is always there. You will be led from jewel to jewel – experiences better than you could have imagined if tried to come up with it from your conscious mind.<\/p>\n
Your conscious mind has a very limited capacity, and despite the fact that the ego thinks it knows best, it doesn\u2019t. Listening to your ego and logic can keep you extremely stuck and miserable, but learning to tune into your inner guidance and following it even when it makes no logical sense to do so can be your ticket to freedom out of your own prison and a shortcut\u00a0all your dreams.<\/i><\/p>\nDespite the fact that the ego thinks it knows best, it doesn\u2019t. <\/a><\/span>Click To Tweet<\/a><\/span>\n Be aware, your guidance may guide you to do something that is way outside of your comfort zone, but trust that if you are guided to do so, the means to do it will be there, and you will be supported every step of the way. The people, circumstances, money and resources will be there. You would never be asked to do something you were not capable of or didn’t have the means to do.<\/p>\n Recently, I felt called to finally get a new website, which has been due for years. After putting out a request on Facebook for website designers, and got over 30 recommendations for great website developers. I instantly felt connected to a lady in South Africa. There were plenty of website designers in the US, but I knew the lady in South Africa was my fit. She was also a photographer, brander and designer and her husband is a videographer.<\/p>\n So we decided to meet in Seychelles Islands to take pictures and make the video for my new site. The Seychelles Islands is about 20 hours in the air travel from Seattle.\u00a0When she suggested Seychelles, I had to laugh because I had just months before been thinking of wanting to go there and to be honest, I\u2019ve wanted to go there for as long as I can remember. So why not? Why not go across the entire world to do this? Make it another adventure. Some may say it’s crazy or wonder why you would fly across the entire world when you could work with someone in your own city, but I’ve learned the best thing I can do is listen to my inner guidance, and so I did.<\/p>\n The trip to the Seychelles Islands was one of the best trips of my life. Maybe you\u2019re still resisting it, thinking it\u2019s a crazy idea or wondering what other people would think.
