Most people go into entrepreneurship because they have a great idea or passion or because they want to live life on their own terms and create freedom. They want to make a difference with their work and see working for themselves as a good option.

What you may not realize when you first start out is that in order to succeed, your personal growth is vital.

Your business is a direct reflection of who you are. As an entrepreneur, you constantly have to face your fears, step out of your comfort zone, and learn to live with uncertainty.

You’re on your own. Nobody will bail you out. If you don’t get clients, you don’t get paid.

In order to grow your business and get clients you often have to face your own insecurities. You need to be visible and let the world know how amazing you are.

But if you’re like most people, there are parts of you that are not completely ready for that. Your internal belief system and the story you tell yourself about who you are may come crashing against you: What if people don’t like me? What if I’m not good enough? What if…what if…

As you are busting through your fears you are also peeling back the layers of an onion. You are forced to deal with and heal the scars inside of you that you may have carried for a lifetime, maybe without being aware. Because the truth is (my truth that is) that your business is not going to grow past your own level of growth.

If you want to grow, if you want more freedom, if you want to make more money and live your dream, then you’d better be willing to open up the hood and look at the ugly stuff you find inside, so you can start to peel it away and heal it.

I’ve learned that you can do business two ways: The hard way, or the easier way. Personally, I prefer the easier way. You can force things to happen by working hard, long hours, or you can allow things to work for you by being who you need to be and aligning yourself with the laws of the universe.

In order to grow your business and get clients you need to be willing to face your insecurities if you want to succeed.

It’s either physical effort (meaning hard work) or vibrational effort (being who you need to be to attract things more effortlessly to you). But in order to use vibrational effort, it requires growth. It requires that you heal any internal blocks that are preventing you from getting what you want.

It requires you to be vulnerable, to move beyond your ego, to question your beliefs and to trust that everything will turn out okay.

As a result, you will experience healing and you will see that the biggest obstacle to have what you want is you, and as you continue to heal and grow, those obstacles will start to fade away.

It is a process of surrendering, letting go and trusting.

Truth is, we all carry a bunch of crap that hold us back from living the life we want, and only by healing that part will you be able to truly live your life to the fullest.

Ultimately, I believe we are here to grow, to learn and to expand and there’s no better way to do that than to go into business for yourself.

Having your own business and being an entrepreneur is a journey. Enjoy it. It’s a process and the process will continue. Just keep moving towards the light. Towards your dreams and know you are the one who need to stretch for it.

As you are willing heal and grow, you will get closer and closer to your precious dream. You will step into living your purpose and being who you came here to be.

It was always there for you. You just had to stretch yourself a little more to reach it. If your dreams were easy, you wouldn’t have a reason to grow. Your dreams are bigger than you so that you can grow into them.

In order for that to happen you may need to learn new things (and unlearn things that are not serving you), heal old patterns and wounds that hold you back, as well as challenge your beliefs of what’s possible for you. When you do, you can grow into the highest version of yourself and live your wildest dreams. There are no limits to what you can achieve. Only limitations in the mind, but those can be changed 🙂
