There is truly nothing to fear in this world. You are more supported than you could ever imagine.

1) Things don’t always go as planned. Early in the year, I had planned out my marketing for the first 6 months of the year like I’ve always done. I planned several marketing activities that I had done before, but this time, somehow some things behind the scenes were stopping me. I would have technical glitch after technical glitch. To the point of ridiculousness. A domino effect of events led to one fiasco after another. At first, I was determined to overcome all of these challenges, but then I realized the Universe had a message for me; STOP was the message.

At the time it made no sense and I had no idea why, but I finally surrendered. I just laid down flat saying, OK, I get it. Now what?

Lesson learned: Know when to stop pushing and learn to listen to the messages you receive. Surrender!

2) I went through a revamping of my business. I simplified. I got rid of all the pieces of my business that I had outgrown. I got new systems, new procedures and I stopped doing everything I didn’t love doing and took my automation to a new level.

Lesson learned: You can always simplify even more and nothing beats having great systems and automation in your business!

3) I fired my VA! Yes, that’s right. I have worked with a VA for years and could not imagine not having one, but the more messages I got, the more clear it was that I was supposed to be more hands-on in my business and do the technical work myself. At first that sounded crazy because this happened at the beginning of summer when the kids were off and I was already wondering how to do it all, but it actually turned out to work really well and with new systems and structures, it actually didn’t take much additional time to do the work, once I learned the basics.

And because I had restructured my business I actually worked less!

Lesson learned: The Universe will guide you to do what’s right for you even when you don’t know what’s right yourself.

4) I restructured how I work with my clients. I realized as I had grown that my offerings were not aligned with my growth and the way I delivered my services were no longer aligned. I had lots of great gifts that I was literally hiding from my clients, not intentionally of course but because my offerings were not set up in a way I could easily deliver on those gifts….so something had to be done and I found a new way of working with my clients that serves both them and I much more. It gives me more freedom and fits perfectly with my schedule and my divine gifts and it allows me to give huge value to my clients.

Lesson learned: Be flexible and make changes as you go. As you grow, your business needs to grow with you.

5) I started working less and making more. I realized that the more I relaxed, the more money I made. Yes, it felt a bit crazy at first having grown up with a very tough work ethic, but truth is I went from having my lowest months in a long time in July to making August and September some of my best months ever. Working less…and with very little effort in terms of marketing.

Lesson learned: Once you truly let go and trust that you are supported, the Universe will show you how supported you are and shower you with abundance.

6) I got trained in a few different energy healing modalities. I had been guided in magical ways to these trainings and even though I hadn’t considered getting certified in energy healing modalities, I listened to my guidance without wavering. As I took the trainings it was affirmed to me that the guidance I had received was real and that I was on the right path.

Lesson learned: Your intuition will guide you in magical ways. Listen, even when it doesn’t make any sense. It knows what’s best for you. Do not discount it if it doesn’t make any sense. There’s a reason that you cannot see yet.

7) I started relying less on marketing in my business and more on my ability to call in my clients. I started receiving clients who came to me telling me they were divinely guided to me. Some would see me in their meditations, others got a clear message that they had to reach out to work with me. So as I was doing less, I was attracting more, and I’ve been blessed to work with some of the most amazing clients.

Lesson learned: This is a BIG one! I learned that no physical work can ever make up for the power of your own mind. As you use your mind correctly, you can delegate lots of work to the Universe, so you can work less and make more.

8 ) I dove into my deepest fears and stared them in the face, promising to myself that I would never, ever let fear get in my way. I learned that the Universe is so loving and caring and when you let go, when you face your biggest fears, the Universe will cast a net around you to protect you. I learned that there is nothing to fear in this world and we’re divinely loved and supported.

Lesson learned: There is truly nothing to fear in this world. The Universe has got your back. You are more supported than you can ever imagine!

9) I sat under a tree one beautiful summer day and got a download for a book that was completed a few short weeks later. (The book is not yet released but stay tuned for more info about that soon!)  I’ve always known I was supposed to write a book. I figured when I was ready it would come to me, and it did!

Lesson learned:  Don’t push it. Everything will come to you at the perfect moment.

I think that sums it up. It was a year of real magic.
