Chakras are energetic wheels surrounding our bodies. These wheels of energy carry messages and information and determine the state our lives are in. Even though we cannot see the chakras with the naked eye, they have a profound effect on our lives and can be huge money blocks that prevent you from making and keeping the money you want in your life.

Each chakra corresponds to different areas of your life and physical body, and if any of your chakras are out of balance, you tend to have issues in your life related to that chakra. These problems could range from mental, emotional, spiritual or physical.

As Einstein said: “Everything is energy and that’s all there is too it.”

The energy field around your body is essential to your well-being and will determine if life feels easy and flowing or if you keep bumping into constant challenges and obstacles.

The second chakra governs your relationship with money.  It is also called the sacral chakra and is located just a few fingers below the navel. This chakra affects your ability to create money in your life. It is where your emotions are stored and it’s the seat of creation. It governs your relationship with money and sex, your emotions, feelings of connection and creativity. It’s also where your inner child resides.

A balanced sacral chakra will lead to feelings of wellness, abundance, pleasure, and enjoyment.

If you are having problems manifesting the money you need, chances are you have money blocks in your sacral chakra that need to be addressed.

An unbalanced second chakra can lead to issues with money. In fact, if your sacral chakra is out of balance, it is likely you either have issues manifesting money into your life, or it may slip away as quickly as you received it.

Many people have emotions that are stuffed down for years in their sacral chakra. In a sense, it’s like the junk drawer of your life where uncomfortable unexpressed emotions get stored. These unprocessed emotions can shut down your sacral chakra, leading to issues around money and the inability to manifest what you want and need.

People who have been abused or gone through a lot of trauma often have issues in this chakra.  An unbalanced sacral chakra also relates to low self-worth, addictions and shame.

The sacral chakra is where the seat of a woman’s power resides; as it governs your sexuality and it is where life is created and manifested from.

So you may start to see how an imbalance in this chakra can have big consequences in your life and in your business and how it affects how money flows to you.

These are some issues you may experience if you have imbalances in your second chakra:

• Blame and guilt
• Issues with sex
• Issues with money
• Lack of creativity
• Not feeling connected
• Lack of flow in your life
• Lack of joy and passion
• Excessive people pleasing
• Apathy
• Neediness
• Boundary issues
• Low self-worth and feeling not good enough
• Lack of confidence and self-esteem
• Lack of focus on what you want in life
• Addictions

Through my energy work I can work on your chakras to help balance them, but there are also ways you can balance these yourself.

Here’s what you can do yourself to start balancing your sacral chakra and remove money blocks:

• Hip opening yoga postures; this will help release old emotions stored in the chakra. If you’re into yoga, I’m sure you know some good hip opening postures you can do, and if not you can just Google it and you’ll find many good poses to start with.
• Dance; just dance like nobody’s watching. This is a very powerful way to balance your second chakra.
• Meditate and visualize the color orange around your second chakra. The second chakra is centered around about two finger widths below your naval (Orange is the color of the sacral chakra)
• Drink plenty of water (water is the element of the sacral chakra)
• Spend time near water; the ocean, lakes, rivers and streams
• Eating orange fruits or vegetables
